Unlike many other cities in North America, Vancouver women have the legal right go topless, however, the authorities still force women to cover up if they are to bare their breasts in public. The issue here has to do more with society’s inability to allow such a thing without others feeling some level of perversion or awkwardness.
Go Topless Day is a 24-hour period when ladies are encouraged to show their breasts as a protest against hypocritical global laws and norm that allow men to walk around shirtless while women must remain clothed.
